FAQ and Technical Support

Symmetrical Plans

Symmetrical Internet is about providing the same download and upload speeds. This means that you can download and upload data at equal speeds. This provides greater flexibility and a better experience when browsing and using online applications.

Download Speed. Speed at which the data transfers from the Internet to your devices. The unit is megabits per seconds (Mbps). The download speed is the speed required for the data to get to your devices. The faster your connection, the shorter the wait before enjoying your favorite shows. For example, a 2-hour High-Definition (HD) movie of about 5GB could take over an hour to download on a 10 Mbps connection, but only 7 minutes on a 100 Mbps connection.

Upload Speed. The upload speed is the speed in which the data transfers from your devices to the Internet. The unit is megabits per seconds (Mbps). When sending an email, the information is uploaded from your device to the Internet. If you send a 2.4 MB photo, it will take about 3 seconds with a speed of 10 Mbps and the operation will be done instantly with a speed of 25 Mbps and more.
